Regional Planning and Social Change
This book is about planning, one kind of planning - public planning - of which regional is one strand. It is also a book about change - the need to comprehend and understand change in all its forms and not to simply plan for it. The book is therefore indirectly concerned with the politics of change the relations between politics and planning, the political administration of planning, and political administrations' attempts to plan. It is not about the techniques of planning or their administration, neither is it a manual of form and content.
